# 202 Current Trends in Stroke Management for Speech Language Pathologists
This course will review relevant neuroanatomy and management of stroke in addition to assessment and treatment of swallowing disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech which all occur as a result of stroke. Experiential components will be included such as experiencing aphasia and dysarthria. Current literature review of current trends regarding speech language pathology practices will be discussed. Course methods include lecture, case studies, video demonstrations, hands on skills, and question/answers.
