“Mastering Pediatric Postural Control: Foundations and Strategies for Balance Development and Treatment" is a comprehensive continuing education course designed for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, and occupational therapist assistants specializing in pediatrics. This course delves into the essential principles of how children develop balance, exploring the ontogenetic progression of postural control and its impact on functional outcomes. Participants will learn to accurately diagnose postural control issues, including those associated with periventricular leukomalacia (PVL), and will be equipped with evidence-based strategies for prioritizing treatment.
